OIL of the gears is not the same as the engine oil its oil is named as ATF . when your gear oil is low you will observe that while putting the gear the bearings slips over and make a bad noise or when you put the gear but the gear box do not take it and you apply greater force to apply the gear or shit the gear. Clutch setting matters alot for the shifting the gear some time we misunderstood that gear is faulty but the reason of clutch we have to adjust the clutch for smooth running gear.
